GO FAIR network

GeRDI will provide generic, sustainable and open software connecting research data repositories to enable multidisciplinary and FAIR research data management

DiscoveryIN: Open User Interfaces for Increased Visibility of Research Results”

The open source software behind this service, called Headstart, can be applied to other data sources as well.  One example for this is VIPER. VIPER is short for Visual Project Explorer and was an OpenAIRE tender project where we adapted the software to the OpenAIRE database. As the name suggests, VIPER gives you an overview of projects based on their linked resources in the OpenAIRE database. Here we also considered datasets. See for example the EVERYSOUND project, where we cluster both datasets and papers: https://openknowledgemaps.org/viper/project?id=bb0f43e009dc52672ea73a9f3fb9b714

  • C2CAMP IN https://www.go-fair.org/implementation-networks/overview/c2camp/

C2CAMP is a group of international experts from relevant research institutions and infrastructure initiatives committed to build interoperable components that are based on specifications from RDA working groups and other comparable initiatives such as OAI, W3C, ISO, and IETF and to integrate them into flexible testbeds. The group will collaborate closely on what is called the Digital Object model which can be seen as one way to implement significant aspects of the FAIR framework”

  • Food-Systems IN https://www.go-fair.org/implementation-networks/overview/food-systems/

“The purpose of this implementation network is to support the implementation of FAIR principles in agri-food sciences, in providing guidelines, tools, methods, etc. with specific efforts towards achieving semantic interoperability. To this end, the Food Systems IN will boost the adoption and implementation of recommendations from existing initiatives such as RDA working groups, GODAN working groups, and W3C.”

  • Metabolomics IN

Collaboration can be made between Metabolomisc and BiodiFAIRse IN related to Galaxy-E and ISAtools.
