The study of metabolism faces a challenge inherent to the study of any complex system: the cognitive limits to large-scale reasoning, which calls for automated processing of information. This presentation offers an overview of the different methods implemented at the Metabolism and Xenobiotics team from INRAE’s Toxalim unit, that are aiming at solving information overload in the treatment of large biological networks.
